southwest or the northwest side of the house. The children bedroom can be in

the northeast side. For bachelors, an eastern side bedroom is an ideal option.
As much as possible, it is advisable to avoid a bedroom in the northeast corner
of the house.
Bedrooms in the southeast are found to
pave way for sleeplessness, mental disturbances and marital problems. Since
southeast is ruled by fire god or Agni, setting up a bedroom in this location
can let you be energetic and aggressive. If you already have an aggressive
nature, avoid a bed room in this direction. Since northwest is ruled by the god
of air or Vayu, this is an ideal place for bedroom, especially for the
daughters awaiting marriage. You can also let the guests stay in the bedroom
constructed in this direction.
Align your bed in such a way that your
head will rest on the south or west direction in the order of preference. In
the former position, you can enjoy even more peaceful sleep. Never sleep with
your head in the north direction since the natural magnetic waves typical to
the north direction will create strong vibrations to disturb your mind. If you
set up the reading place inside the bedroom, align the reading table in a way
you will face the east while you are at work.
Fix the mirrors on the east or northern
walls. This is practically advisable since when you look at the mirror in such
positions, the morning light will illumine your face and you will get a better
view of yourself. Plan the wardrobe in the northwest or southwest side of the
bedroom and in the southeast direction, keep the television set, heaters and
air-conditioners. Never keep the southwest or west corners vacant.
Though you might better avoid keeping the
safe inside your bedroom, if necessary and there is no other better
alternative, you may keep the safe in the south direction with the doors
opening up in the north side.
